Massey and Area Museum is hosting it's first Annual Street Painting Festival this summer! This cultural art adventure will be help on September 17th and 18th, 2005. Coming to this event to show us their wonderful art is an assortment of artists. People from German, California, England and Halifax, as well as many others are attending to share their art. You can also be a part of this festival by registering to be a painter, a vendor or a volunteer. All forms are available on the website provided below. Come out and join us and find out why everyone calls our race the FRIENDLY MASSEY MARATHON!! Volunteers for various jobs such as: registration, aid stations, spagetti supper, pancake breakfast, and many more are needed. These volunteer hours can be used towards the High School students Community Service Requirement for their Grade 12 Diploma. Massey Figure Skating Club
Registration for skating will be Tuesday September 28th and Wednesday 29th at 7 p.m. at the Massey Arena.

Massey Players
The Massey Players will be presenting a murder mystery as their spring dinner theatre production. The play is entitled "Murder in the Air" written by Peg Sheldrick, and produced by special arrangement with Contemporary Drama Service. Plan to Attend on Thursday or Friday April 28th and 29th, at the Walford Community Centre in Walford. The dinners will be catered by the Massey Pastoral Charge of the United Church of Canada. OR on Monday May 2nd where the play will be presented along with a desert and a tea, at St. Mary's School Massey, as a school fund raiser. Tickets will be available after April 1st by calling Austin at 844- 2289 COME AND SEE "WHODUNIT"

Massey Nature Study Group exists to promote interest and share observations on the natural flora and fauna of our area. Sighting reports are encouraged to exchange and promote knowledge of our environment. Participation in nature study monitoring of related projects is encouraged. The group meets on the third Tuesday of the month from September to May.
